A mid century teak side table restored and updated: the colours in this tired, tiled tabletop caught my eye and I brought it home and gave it some love.
It has been regrouted, sanded to remove blemishes on the teak top, painted with Frenchic’s Cool Beans to pick out one of the colours in the tiles, and finally waxed and buffed to bring out the rich grain on top.
Now it’s a handy side table in an updated retro style that would add warmth and style to many parts of a home.
A 'before' photo is included to let you see what the item was like before it was upcycled.
All the pieces I upcycle are preloved, and some will show signs of their previous life, which I feel adds to their character.
