The Cable is to the Harmonised H07RN-F standard which has better low-temperature performance, and is much more durable, than Arctic Grade Cable.

One of the biggest problems associated with operating high power 110v Equipment over long lengths is the effect of Volt-Drop in Extension Cables. By using 2.5mm sq Conductor Cable we minimise the effects of this as far as practical and this adaptor will ensure you stay within the Volt Drop requirements of BS7671 (Wiring Regulations), even when Daisy Chained with other 2.5mm sq Conductor Cable, running at the maximum specification of 16A to over 20m in length (NOT achievable with 1.5mm sq Conductor Cable).

All our Cables and Adaptors are Tested and Certified in accordance with the IET Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment immediately prior to shipping, so are ready to put straight into service without question by Site Safety Officers.
