Amherst College, Pair Of (1 Each) Silver And Bronze Medals, Seals, Or Shells, Of The College, Quite Old.  The seals are both struck as shells, 50 mm diameter, in uncirculated condition, and Well Struck.  I can only guess their use, perhaps as samples for medals or for an official seal, as wax impressions could be easily made from the reverse of the medals. They are Old, well made, attractive, and intriguing.
