For sale is an extremely rare and hard to find piece of pre-Shelley Foley/Wileman bone china teapot. There is an old repair to the spout of this exquisite find that I clearly show in my photos.  With that said, it is being offered in "AS IS" CONDITION, and other than this obvious damage, is in very good condition otherwise.  It measures 5 1/2" tall x 9" from spout to handle. 

There are no other examples of this teapot for sale that I am aware of.  If you look up this Pattern on one of the bigger china replacement websites, they refer to it as #7970.

The backstamp on this teapot indicates it was produced by the Wileman company between 1894 and 1910. This company would later be formed into what today is known as Shelley. If you are a serious collector of Shelley or just have a good eye for quality, this is a must have Teapot
