This is primarily used to cap off where the sound pipe connects to the intake after removal on a Mk5 FSI or Mk6 TSI GTI. The ID tolerance is slightly smaller than the actual pipe to ensure a good seal from boost leaks.

Please check other 2.0 TSI engine applications for fitment. Simply measure the outer diameter of the intake "Y" connection where the sound pipe connects. 35-38mm is acceptable for the use of this cap.

This is a 4 ply black silicone cap that can be used on any other air or coolant automotive application. The cap has a heat rating of up to 220 Celsius. The clamp is stainless steel and of course included with each order. Any questions please send me a message.
