This scarce hole in one golf trophy which has three solid silver golf clubs which are hallmarked for London 1931 are surrounding a Spalding Courier golf ball on a black wood base. 

This antique/vintage trophy has a fully hallmarked plaque to the front that relates to when the hole in one trophy was presented in 1931. 

A further plaque to the base reads With the compliments of the Silvertown Co.

This handsome golfing trophy would make an unusual collector's piece for a golf enthusiast.

Hallmark: Lion for sterling silver. Leopard's head for London. Date letter q for 1931 and maker's mark G Co for Glossoid Co.

Dimensions: Height: 16.5 cm (6 1/2").

Weight: 396 g.

Condition: 
Very good antique/vintage condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Silver has some tarnish marks, light surface scratches and rubbing. The inscription on the silver plaque is worn. Wear to the ebony finish on the wood base. Please see pictures.
