This is the Second edition of this uncommon American book covering the food, care, breeding, disease and treatment of all house birds.

It is in good condition with some occasional soiling and rubbing to the binding in keeping with a book over 100 years old.

There are many illustrations with 12 being coloured (more than is actually listed in the description) and an interesting catalogue with prices for birds and equipment contained in the rear of the book.
