An early example of this great value 1960's vintage electric guitar, in glorious cherry finish with set mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard.

It was a single pickup version, so for versatility I professionally installed a Gretsch Filtertron in bridge position, which provides a great all-round rock sound to compliment the mellow original neck p/up.

It's a really nice light-weight guitar suitable for many styles. I love the trapeze tailpiece and long Fender style headstock with gold Hofner decal on black. This one of the most handsome examples of this guitar that I've viewed either in person or online, in my eyes at least... with a beautiful translucence and depth to the red finish.

Set-up with new strings and plays very well; could probably benefit from new frets at some point. The finish has aged well with some checking and very small scuffs as expected on a guitar of this age.

Serial number 388. Provided with a protective bag (though carry handle broken).

Open to any questions but no part exchanges thanks :)
