If you're servicing suspension these clamps are a great place to start. Our vise clamps are 7.75" long and are intended for use in a bench vise of at least 4" jaw width. The clamps are 6061 aluminum, they are not anodized in order to keep them softer than the items you'll be working on and because non-anodized aluminum has a higher friction coefficient than anodized by a factor of 2-3 times.

Knipex Clamps:
A set of clamps intended for mobile use, or for to speed up in shop service. These intended to work with 10" Knipex pliers wrench model 86-03-250 or similar with jaws less than 9mm wide. These clamps are black anodized for durability in the field, but it also does detract somewhat from the grip they offer. With an average male grip strength about 15nm of torque is possible on a 10mm shaft using these clamps. Your results will vary with conditions and grip strength.
