Chatillon, Louis falsely known as Chaillon or French Chaillot, male. Born in 1639, in Ste-Menehoud (Marne); died April 28, 1734, in Paris. Painter, engraver. A pupil of Pezey and Lebrun, Louis de Chatillon specializes in enamel painting. Between 1698 and 1719, he made box lids for the Hôtel des Menus Plaisirs.
