The 1963 Post Cereal CFL set was issued on backs of boxes of Post Cereals in Canada. The cards measure 2 1/2" by 3 1/2". Cards could also be obtained from an order-by-number offer during 1963 from Post's Canadian affiliate. Cards are numbered and ordered within the set according to team. There are 160 cards in the 1963 Post Cereal CFL set. The cards were printed on the backs of Post cereal boxes and cut from the boxes by hand. The set contains 16 to 18 cards for each of the CFL teams, a large number compared to most football card sets. It includes a few players who had short careers in the NFL or AFL, but who never appeared on American football cards.
