Beautiful antique oak rocking cradle.  There is an acorn carving on the tall end.  This item was uncovered at an estate sale.  The age is unknown.  The cradle appears to be archaic.  There are a couple of missing corner stabilizer wood pieces on the inside of the frame, all of the nail pins could use replacing to make a more secure cradle, and a couple of the posts are cracked.  This item is light, and was most likely designed for small babies, or dolls.  This cradle comes with four slats.  Three are wrapped together on the short end with a white tie.  To ship the cradle I will need to pull the pins to break the cradle down piece by piece to insure the item arrives in as good condition as possible.  The cradle is primed to fix up, mend, or modernize.
