VINTAGE - 1950'S -"EMES" - HEAVY BRASS

SCOTTISH COAT OF ARMS - LION RAMPANT

CROWN TOP - WINDUP - MECHANICAL ALARM CLOCK

This fabulous quality made heavy brass case has fancy ornate Scottish Coat of Arms lion rampant detail on each side and a crown on the top - It was manufactured during the era of Queen Elizabeth's coronation in 1952 - With the crown on the top and the Scottish Coat of Arms lion rampant on each side perhaps it was a Scottish piece to commentate that occasion or the 1950 theft of the Stone of Scone and it's return to Scotland - It definitely has a Scottish connection - It stands approx. 5" tall x 4" wide x 2" deep on (4) feet - It has a 2" square fancy ornate dial with applied brass Roman numerals and tiny fancy ornate brass hands with enamel detail - It is fitted with a wind up time and alarm movement - The clock is in excellent running order and appears to keep good time - However, since it is a vintage piece, it is being sold with no warranty or guarantee of accuracy - It is excellent overall used condition with no chips, cracks or breaks - Dial has some tiny dark spots and is missing the hash mark at 1 - Light age related wear - Still displays beautifully - See pictures for condition details - Selling "as is" - BUYER PAYS THE EXACT COST OF SHIPPING & INSURANCE AS DETERMINED BY WEIGHT, PACKAGE SIZE AND DESTINATION ZIP CODE OR COUNTRY I pack VERY well and I DO NOT charge a packing or handling fee. The clock will be double boxed and packed with care - Shipping fee includes insuring the package for the purchase price. Paypal accepted. Other forms of payment also accepted.  Paypal accepted.
