A trunk coffee table and record storage chest in a vintage industrial design handmade to order using reclaimed wood, upcycled and locally sourced FSC certified timbers - this is a planet friendly product!
Constructed of polished plywood with reclaimed rustic wooden bracings, metal fastenings and fixings, rear wood chock lid supports and wooden base runners. Featuring a classic 'GWR' 1930's roundel logo in Hague Blue by Farrow & Ball and co-ordinating steel chest handles. The reclaimed planking and upcycled/locally sourced FSC plywood features knots and quirks, grains, textures and tones for an organic, tactile finish.
The newly designed partitioned interior comprises 2 cubes each measuring 36.5cm x 36.5cm which comfortably take around 60 albums in plastic sleeves per side on a flick tilt.. how many can be stored depends on how you personally choose to house your vinyl collection.
Each chest carries a vintage style paper inventory label with the Vintage Trunks & Chests brand which will be numbered and date stamped. Your coffee table trunk with vinyl storage will be hand-finished to the highest standard and wax polished to a satin sheen finish.

This item contains reclaimed materials so no two chests will be exactly the same - good news for individuals! Each chest is hand-crafted by Simon according to the materials available so may differ slightly from the photos.

Hand-crafted with care and expertise in our workshop, it will be 2-3 weeks before your chest is ready - good things take time! We aim to deliver your order within 21 days of purchase. At very busy times there may sometimes be a delay with your order - we will contact you and let you know if that is likely to be the case and keep you regularly updated with progress reports.
