All the King's Men, by Robert Penn Warren
from The Franklin Library

Back in the 1970s and 80s, The Franklin Library was going head to head with Easton Press in producing high-quality leather bound editions. Then, inexplicably, they degraded their own brand by beginning to produce hardcovers made to look "leather-ish."

This book represents The Franklin Library at its apex. It's as fine as anything Easton has produced.

  • 1977, The Franklin Mint.
  • Limited Signed Edition.
  • Author's signature on flyleaf.
  • An introduction by the author especially for this edition.
  • Hardcover bound in genuine leather.
  • Cover and spine have gold lettering and design.
  • Outer page edges are gilt.
  • Decorative end papers.
  • Permanent satin ribbon page marker.
  • Minimal wear to cover. Gilding on the top page edges is not mint, though.
