This is a genuine hand-knotted Turkish rug circa 1950’s. The rug is made with natural vegetable dyes

Rug has roughly 100 knots per square inch. The rug was washed professionally 7 months ago and it is recommended it be professionally cleaned every 2-3 years depending on traffic with regular hoovering.

There is some previous moth damage, the fringes have frayed slightly but are secure from pulling away the rug. The selvedge(side cord) is exposed on one side but is still secure.
