Like nearly all the high end vintage analog synths we sell, this item has been METICULOUSLY disassembled, cleaned inside and out, FULLY serviced by professionals who’ve been servicing and selling vintage synths for more than the last 3 decades, and systematically tested multiple times over a long period to ensure it’s working exactly as it should. No BS. No ebay surprises. We’re perfectionists and don’t cut corners. Although this instrument came to us in relatively good shape, we want our items to be better than the rest and invested *many* hours of tech time plus parts costs to fully overhaul this unit so it would be clean, working like new again and as reliable as possible for its next owner. This was a serious investment of time, love, and money, and was definitely worth the effort and is of course reflected in the higher than usual price. If you’re looking for a great sounding example of this model that works just like it should without needing to invest hundreds or thousands of dollars in tech fees and waiting from weeks to years, this one should make you very happy.

Meticulously overhauled, sparing no expense, so it would be as good as possible and hopefully reliable well into the future for its next owner. This results in a Maxi-Korg that's way better than others you may find and justifiably more costly too.

Apart from any repairs that may have been necessary, here's what our tech did to this unit, though these notes may be incomplete:

Cleaned inside and out.
Cleaned and lubed all slide pots.
Cleaned and lubed all rotary switches.
Replaced traveler pots for perfect crackle-free performance and smooth operation.
Replaced power supply capacitors as a future-proofing measure.
Cleaned up keyboard.
Cleaned and lubed key contacts.
Recalibrated.
Burn in test.
Systematic testing several times / all tests passed with flying colors.

The original wood on these is almost always in poor shape and this was no exception, so we replaced it with replicas. As you can see from the photos, this synth looks gorgeous now! Note: The metal door on the back that normally stores the power cord when the unit is not in use is bent and the latch is no longer working.

The shipping calculator here may be wrong. Buyer pays ACTUAL insured shipping costs.

International shipping: The price using eBay’s Global Shipping Program option is accurate. If you check out using this option, this will be the only option. If the calculator shows a UPS Expedited option, the cost may be a lot less using our UPS account - the best way to calculate shipping via this method would be to go to our website, find the item and use the calculator there since our shipping calculator should be more accurate - but please email us first to discuss as we want to be sure the shipping quote seems right.

We will settle up any shipping differences after the item ships. It will ship within approximately 2 weeks of when we receive full payment. We won’t falsely declare the value of this item, so please don’t ask.

SHIPPING SCHEDULE:
-Many of the items we sell are big and fragile & have special packing requirements. We pack and ship only 1 day a week and delays can sometimes occur, so expect us to ship your item within 1-2 weeks. If you're in a hurry, please don't buy from us as we don't want to disappoint you.
-If you leave feedback, we expect you to give us a perfect score for shipping time since we make our policies clear in advance.
