REBOUND. An oversize hardcover book that has been rebound in black
buckram with black cloth boards. Call number on spine, stamps on
foredges, and various library markings on endpapers and title page. All
pages foxed, but text otherwise unmarked, and binding tight. In the back
is a large folding map depicting the second voyage of Christopher
Columbus in 1494, after the maps of Juan de la Cosa; this map has been
backed with canvas, having once split along the folds. There are also
several large dampstains on the map. Black ribbon inside back cover once
held this map in place, but has torn off at one end. On the whole, a
good, sturdy copy for reading and reference. Item #186539
