Paper lining around inside brim.  The Kabuto's paper brim is 2 3/8" across for the inner diameter and is about 1" deep (from the plane of the paper brim up to the apex where it sits on the top of the doll's head).

The overall dimensions of the entire Kabuto are about 8" across and 4" high.

Age unknown.  It appears vintage to modern.  It is not antique because of the material lining the inside of the helmet and the cord material weave do not appear antique.

Used, as-is. Some wear on corners and edges, small spots. Lacquered wood has a few small chipped spots. Threads are loose on uppermost corner from viewer's right side. Cardboard sheets have some wear. See attached pictures. Ruler in pictures is not included in sale.
