Jack DeJohnette and Pat Metheny, who were close friends, formed a super super group consisting of legendary artists with Herbie Hancock and Dave Holland. During their world tour in 1990, a valuable archive recording of performances at the Jazz Festival in Philadelphia has appeared!
This work is the sound source when appearing at the jazz festival held at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia on June 23, 1990, and was released in 1990 by DeJohnette/Hancock Metheny. Parallel Realities” and songs from Metheny/Holland/Haines’ “Question and Answer” released in the same year. presenting a brilliant performance.
The bonus track includes one additional song each from the performance in France, Germany, and Japan in July of the same year!
