This antique cue file tipper which is made of boxwood has brass fittings, steel file and is marked with it's registered design number of 658062 which dates to 1917.
This nice quality tipper can be used to clamp snooker, billiard and pool cues to file the ends flat when replacing the tips and then to hold it in place whilst the glue is drying.
A very nice usable antique piece with an attractive patina.
