NAD C715 CD Receiver / USB CD-R/RW MP3 WMA

Some of the item particulars have a German heading I’m not sure why that has happened but you can work out what they are in English if you’re unsure please do not hesitate to drop me a line

The sale includes the remote control and also all the wiring for the antennas including the FM antenna, the DAB antenna and the AM antenna only

However there is no reason why you can’t invest in a decent DAB aerial yourself if you’re going to be keeping this unit I will definitely be doing that he will improve the sound quality and reception

Please note this is the correct name of the unit as listed at the top of this description

The eBay reference number you can find on this listing is incorrect as it would not let me select the right one which is the C715 NAD as above

This is a wonderful NAD integrated stereo receiver

If you don’t know anything about NAD please research them on the Internet there are very respected separate hi-fi manufacturer BRAND on for many years

This is able to play CD discs

I know the other one on sale on eBay is not able to play this and this again is reflected in the low price you are paying for that unit

In addition you can insert a USB stick and this will play music off that

All you have to do is make sure the music is recorded in MP3

You can also record off the radio all you do is insert the stick and select record

You should be able to record of the other sources as well

I have not tried out the microphone all the tape and other elements but as they are a source there is no reason why they can’t be recorded

You type in the recording unit name in the Internet the manual comes up so you will be able to see the technical specifications there

This is a versatile machine and ahead of its day in the heyday

I haven’t really use this much and it’s taking up valuable space

I have checked and everything is working

I have taken photographs of the front display and panned through the various options

As you can see, the radio goes from FM, through to AM, and through to the modern day digital audio broadcasting DAB radio for short

In addition it has other sources as well

The source is basically something you select that goes into the hi-fi

For this unit you can select MP which is equal to microphone, USB which is equivalent to inserting a USB memory module into the bottom right hand section where you can play MP3 music

There are further source options including tape, auxiliary, video which give you quite a variety to choose from

As you can see the buttons are quite robust and it is a fairly simple and elegant unit

Go onto the Internet and see the reviews for this you may well be very surprised

As you can see it goes right through from AM FM DAB radio which is digital radio then through to auxiliary input type input CD option and other sources as well

Where possible I am taking photographs of the thing in operation

I start off with the FM signal with Radio Four

Then move onto the CD player - I’ve taken some photographs with the CD playing it so you can see I’ve played different kind of CDs with no problem whatsoever

And then gone onto DAB Radio it’s playing Absolute Radio and then Absolute 80s

I’ve then gone on to photograph the USB stick in operation

My USB has an orange light that comes on when active and you can see that it’s working You can of course buy your own USB stick

There is also a photograph recording from the FM and DAB radio onto the USB stick AND THEN PLAYING THAT BACK

You can see that everything here works as it should
