Item:  Super Rare HELMET Watch

Precedence:  Recently I had the pleasure to do a Private "Pick" of items belonging to one of the Original FREMARK Owners.  These HELMET Watches among many other Novelty Watches of Fremark (Baseball Helmet Watches & Volkswagen Beetle Watches) were part of the items I purchased from her directly.   So, this specific watch is as legit as they come never even for sale in the public before and right from the original owners private stock.   The Original Owners went through great lengths to get all the licensing they needed from all the teams.  You'll notice how close the town of Fair Lawn is to my town of Lyndhurst.  

Photo#2 shows a homemade board from someone who was trying to collect all the Football Helmets and The Baseball Helmet Watches as well.  Still has a way to go!!  Notice that NONE of the helmets on the board are College Teams.  The College Football Helmets I don't believe ever hit the open market.  Only the NFL and some MLB Helmets did.  

The Last (3) Photos are of a SAMPLE Watch to show buyer what it looks like outside of the box.  The watch you will receive has never left the box and as you can see, includes the original instruction papers.  

If you can find another of these cheaper, please show me so I can beat them.  But, there are no more out there. 

Description:   For Sale is a Vintage 1986 "University of Alabama Crimson Tide"  Helmet WristWatch from Fremark Inc. Model FH-28.  Crimson Colored Helmet on Crimson Colored Velcro Band.  When the face guard of the helmet is released, it pops open revealing a Digital Quartz Watch with 5 functions.   The battery that came with this watch has surely ceased to work because it only had a 2 year life.  Fortunately, it can be replaced and it is accessed using a VERY tiny philips screwdriver.  This box is not dated, but I know positively the year these were made (1986) and some of the other Helmet boxes are dated and so are the Volkswagen Watch Boxes.  I am sure my photos will best further describe this item. 

Condition:   On a scale of 1 - 10 (Ten being New in Package Only), I can confidently

grade this item's condition to be a solid 8.5 At Least.   Overall and Especially for being 35 Years Old, this VERY Rare Univ. Of Alabama Football Team Collectible is in EXCELLENT Condition.  First, Everything is No Less than 95% Immaculate.  The Helmet Watch inside is Mint as it should be.  The exterior of the box is No Less than 90% Pristine with barely a blemish.     You should expect the digital watch to NOT work.  My photos are an

accurate depiction of this item's TRUE

Condition.  

NEW BATTERY INCLUDED but NOT installed.  Can't guarantee it, but by replacing the battery, the watch should work.

Shipping is based SOLELY on Dimensions of Packed Item

Shipping: 

90% of all items will be shipped in 36hrs or less (usually the same/next

day) unless the item is paid for on a Saturday. 

The Post Office is closed on Sunday so shipping will begin again on

Monday.  No international shipping unless

done through Ebay's Global Shipping Program.
