 selling as a donor part.

As i will be putting up for sale quite a few parts from my camera i want to describe how and why i had to part from her.

I bought this camera 3 or 4 years ago replacing my old 400d.

A year ago during my vacations the camera started shooting pictures ONLY IN AUTO MODE any other mode inclusive video mode just brought the mirror up and the camera froze.

I took her to the canon repair center in Athens who they told me that most probably is the motherboard or maybe something else bla bla bla in order to arrive at an unbeleivable quotation which of course i didnt accept,as i could buy a new car for the cost so i started using my old canon again.

From then on i decided to fix the camera myself ha ha..

I bought a motherboard from ali express and when it arrived i started the surgery.

not long after and when i removed the easy parts i managed to split the flex cable of the shutter.

Stopped the process and ordered a shutter assembly again from China and continued surgery.

The end came yesterday 30/04 when while trying to reassemble the camera one of the cable retainers of the motherboard lost its retaining cover.

At this point i stopped and decided to sell the cam for parts and stick to my old camera which works perfectly more than 15 years now.

The story of the 750d end here and is available as a donor for other people who might be better surgeons than me.
