Made as a "Lave-Raisins", a small water container used to rinse unwashed grapes, this is one of 5 models made by Rene Lalique et Cie, the others being Ricquewihr, Muscat, Sarments & Jurancon.  This model, Malaga, is named after the Spanish city in the Costa del Sol, famous for its sweet dessert wine and as the birthplace of Pablo Picasso.
