Hamburg American Line: A 7.5" diameter "ribbon plate" showing a color image of the PRESIDENT LINCOLN of 1907.

I wonder who first owned this wonderful souvenir? While the PRESIDENT LINCOLN carried around 500 in First and Second classes, down below she held 3,350 in Third and Steerage. They probably would not have the money to buy a ribbon plate but I like to think that a proud and newly-minted American citizen hung the plate on their wall as a reminder of the ship that carried them to a brighter future.

PRESIDENT LINCOLN sailed in commercial service until being interned in 1914. She became a U.S. Army transport and was sunk by a U-boat in 1918.

The plate is in excellent condition and the portrait in good condition with wear.
