Description: Colour: White 3/4" Imperial BSP Threaded PVC Pressure Pipe Fittings Plain/Solvent Weld PVC Pipe Fittings are designed with female socket connections for sliding over the ends of unthreaded male pipes. Can be fitted together dry or sealed in liquid with a solvent cement/Solvent Weld Glue, for use with liquid. BSP Threaded fittings are threaded together using PTFE tape. Use with the same colour fittings, also compatible with other colours PVC Pipe and Fittings. Application: PVC Pipe and Fittings are suited to many applications. They are probably the most widely used plastic pipe systems in industrial pressure applications and are found in the water treatment, marine aquarium, swimming pool, ponds, aquaculture, irrigation, cooling, heating, chemical and process industries to name but a few. Spigot fittings are also a fitting which goes inside another fitting. EG: a 1" tank connector would go inside a fitting at the Spigot end. (Basically the Spigot part acts like a piece of pipe. It has the same OD as the pipe for that size would have.) Tips: FBSP= Female BSP Threaded, MBSP= Male BSP Threaded. The picture is only for reference and subjectde to the real product. Some fitting eg Reducing Socket may be a little different shape in different sizes, but the usage and principle are the same.
