Agarikon (Fomitopsis officinalis) Once widespread, Agarikon (Fomitopsis officinalis) was known in ancient Greece as the 'elixir of long life'. Agarikon is now extremely rare, however technology advances have made this available as a mycelium extract so we can enjoy the potential benefits of this amazing mushroom.

Birch Polypore (Piptoporus betulinus) This amazing mushroom has been used since ancient times for tinder and medicinal purposes.

Enoki (Flammulina velutipes) A great and popular culinary mushroom, also used in traditional chinese medicine (TCM) and valued very highly in Japan. 'Enoki' can also be found in many anti-aging skin products. An anti-oxidant present in enoki called L-Ergothioneine has been proven to improve skin quality, powerful in reducing photo damage on the skin.[1] and a scavenger of strong oxidants.[2]

Mesima (Phellinus linteus) Increasingly drawing the attention of researchers for its immune enhancing properties.

Zhu Ling (Polyporus umbellatus) Li Shi Zhen, in his comprehensive materia medica the Ben Cao Gang Mu (1578), says of this mushroom’s actions, quoting the earlier Shen Nong Ben Cao, ‘dispersing invading vicious factors and facilitating urination.
