This listing is for a wonderful "fascinator" hat that I have had packed away for years.  Many years!  I just recently opened the box, and found all kinds of things that I had forgotten about, including this little hat.  When I purchased it, I had intended to pull it apart for the flowers.  But, after looking at it closely, I realized it could have another life as a hat, before going to the crafts bin.  OR, it can go to the crafts bin!

The hat is about 10 1/2" from the front to the back, including the ribbons.  It can be worn tilted, or on the crown of the head with the ribbons down the back.  It is really a lovely piece.

The flowers are all excellent, but the ribbon is slight smashed.  It doesn't look bad at all - it looks vintage.  The net is another story - it has some tears.  This type of net gets caught on the flowers and pins, and then tears.  It could be removed, repaired, or replaced.  The little hat was originally created as a "spring and summer" piece, that would have been worn, most likely, as an Easter bonnet.  In the 1950's, ladies always wore hats.  And gloves!  It is such a cute piece.
