Designed by Kaj Franck one of Finland's premier designers instigator of the Franck Award for Design

The Teema tableware collection, designed by Kaj Franck, features a minimalist design based on three basic forms: square, rectangle and circle. Franck’s aim was to create simple and functional plates, with colour as their only adornment. The minimalist plates suit both everyday use and festive dinners. The tableware was first manufactured under the name Kilta in 1953–1975, and in 1981 it was renamed Teema.
