Antique Green Boulle Mantel Clock With Brass In Lay For Repair.

This lovely little mantel clock has a boulle case with an hour glass style case. The sides and back of the case are ebonised then the front is green with intricate brass inlay. There is then a gilt cherubs head mount to the top as well as further shaped mounts to the front edges, bottom edges, and middle. Unfortunately some brass work does need gluing down again although i’m sure this could be done.

The dial is then painted and set out in black Roman numerals with a think ring of dashes to the outside marking the minutes. The dial is then finished by two shaped hands as well as a bevelled glass.

The movement is then wound and accessed from the back. Unfortunately the movement isn’t working currently so is being sold as a repair project.

It measures approximately:

- 8.5” / 21.5cm Tall.

- 6” / 15.25cm Wide.

- 2.5” / 6.5cm Deep.
