This fine example of a tin toy was produced in the 20^th century. The toy car was made in Japan, has great detail, lever action, excellent condition and works!  Seems it was for the English market since the steering is on the right side.  Trade mark printed on the back says TM Modern Toys, and has a patent number 27579.  Measures 7 x 5 x 3 1/2 inches.  Bit dusty, minor paint flaked off a rear fender, otherwise a superb addition to any collection.
