A rare and uncommonly large engine-turned black basalt ware ceramic pounce pot in the style of Wedgwood, probably made by some other company (like Neale, Mayer, Spode, Leeds, etc.) in the early 19th century. 

Measurements: 10,4 cm x 6,5 cm.

In good condition, showing the expectable signs of wear and a few tiny nibbles near the orifices (please look carefully at all the pictures).
