BFM-1514R is a 1U stereo audio processor tailored for their FM transmitter and exciter setups (I think particularly the BFM-15); perhaps dating to around 1980-81. If you think of the high perceived loudness and modulation specs in the engineering side of the industry around that time you'll get an idea of how this box was advertised. It sold for $1495.
