This decorative French fencing / sabre mask which is made of thick brown leather with a wirework frame, has a mesh wire face guard to the front, leather straw filled padding, leather piping, button detailing and dates from the late 19th century.
This unusual antique mask, which is a very nice early example, comes on a wooden display stand and would make a very nice collector's piece.
