For both the crafter and collector of all things Disney.  A First Edition of Walt Disney Characters Needlepoint Book by Lisbeth Perrone.  Published by Random House Inc., New York in 1976.  It is 96 pages hardbound with paper dust jacket, measuring 11¼ by 8¾ inches.  It features full size patterns that can be traced onto a needlepoint canvas.  Designs of Mickey & Minnie, Pluto & Figaro, Donald & Daisy, Huey, Dewey & Louie, Peter Pan & Captain Hook, Goofy, 3 Pigs, Snow White & Dwarfs, Cheshire Cat, Bambi, Thumper & Flower, Dumbo, and Pinocchio & Jiminy Cricket.  Full-color photos show the finished items, and work drawings accompany each design. If planning to use for needlepoint:  These are not Needlepoint Graphs (not graph paper format), they are line drawings of the characters you can copy to canvas and stitch.  The only directions are simple colors and amounts.  The full size drawings were provided by the Walt Disney Co. artists, so they are not "needlepoint ready".  If you are looking to add an authentic Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy or more to a needlepoint this is the pattern book you need.  The patterns are clear "coloring book" style patterns, and could easily be adapted for applique, tole painting, stained glass, or many other crafting applications.
