Up for sale here is this set of 2 brand new Chemi-Con 15000 uf 63v capacitors.  These are drop-in replacements for the main filter capacitors on the Carver TFM-15 and TFM-15CB.  They are slightly taller than the old filter capacitors, but will fit nicely under the amp cover with no issues.  The original capacitors were 15000 uf 50v, but the amp rails run at 52v, so the old capacitors are underpowered and will eventually go bad, and are probably bad already.  It is very important to replace these filter caps so your amp can run safely.  The new caps are 15000 uf 63v, so they can handle the voltage with no issues.

These are the same capacitors I use when I am rebuilding vintage gear.  I recently installed a pair in a TFM-15CB, and they performed wonderfully.  You can see the installation in my pictures.  These measure 35mm in diameter and 61mm tall.  The terminals are 12mm apart and will fit right into the old holes.  The gray stripe on the side of the capacitor is the negative--make sure you match polarity with the board markings!  These are brand new caps and were made the 14th week of 2023.

Please see my pictures for details.  I have shown pictures of these installed in an amp, but this listing is just for the 2 caps, not the amp.

A note about installation:
Main filter capacitors are usually used to provide the positive and negative rails to the amplifier section, so one (or two) of them will appear to be wired backwards (with positive to chassis ground).  This is normal.  Before you replace your capacitors, take some clear pictures of the wiring so you will know how to connect the new ones.  If your equipment starts blowing fuses after replacing the main filter capacitors, you probably wired one backwards.

US shipping and handling is $5, and international is $18.  If you have any questions, please ask.

I have more capacitors and lots of vintage electronics listed--feel free to take a look!
