Aria MR402 Multitrack Cassette Recorder NEEDS WORK.

For your consideration is a c1985 Aria MR402 multitrack cassette recorder. These are some of the earlier home cassette recorders, predating the Fostex and Tascam models that have become so popular by 5 to 10 years. This particular unit was imported from Japan and is not in working condition. It turns on and one of the VU meters lights up. When you insert a tape, the motor tries to run when you hit any of the buttons, but doesn't. I think it's a belt issue, but I haven't really had the time to investigate. This would be a really cool multitrack, it just needs some love. Physically, it is in okay shape, it has dings and scratches, but nothing is broken.
