THIS IS AN EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN HOOSIER CABINET, READY FOR EVERYDAY USE. It’s from the late 1800s to early 1900s.  We have been told that it was made by The Queen Cabinet Co. E H Stafford Co later bought this company.

In 1915 hoosier cabinet manufacturers stopped using wood tops on the cabinet bases and opted to use enamel or zinc tops. The top cabinet has many features, including a pull down cylinder door with lots of space to store dishes, pans, etc. It appears that sometime in this Hoosier’s life someone left something that was hot while the cylinder door was closed and caused the 3 dark spots. The 2 hinged doors have etched glass, original latches and one shelf that has 2 plate groves for displaying or storing plates. 4 drawers with original brass plated knobs, 2 end drawers are possum belly style (curved bottom). The top of the cabinet has a rail to allow for plates, trays or decorative items.  It sits on top of the base cabinet securely however you can screw the two pieces together on the back side with wood or metal brackets. The base features a wood top working area, 2 full size cutting boards (that have been sanded and sealed), one door cabinet with original metal latch, metal pull out shelf and door rack, 3 wood drawers with original handles, 1 of which is a possum belly drawer that rolls out..All display items are not included.

Top:  44 3/4x15 1/4x46 1/2. Base:  47x27 1/2x30 1/4”
