Antique Brass Ships / Bulk Head Wall Clock With Single Chain Fusee Movement.

This lovely antique wall clock has a brass case in the typical ships / bulkhead style. The case is round with a stepped out bezel as well as a stepped put back so that the clock can be attached to the wall.

The clock then dial is then painted and set out in black Roman numerals with a thin ring to the outside marking the minutes. The dial then has a subsidiary second dial with every 15 seconds marked in Arabic numerals. The dial also has a slow and fast adjuster to the centre of the top! Finally the dial is finished by three shaped hands as well as a bevelled glass set into the brass bezel.

The movement is then wound from the front and is ticking away as it should. It is a single, chain fusee example of the upmost quality! The clock also comes complete with its winding key.

It measures approximately:
