Companhia Colonial de Navegacao: A tissue deck plan (17.5" by 19.5") from 1962 of the UIGE, Cia Colonial's passenger-cargo liner built for Angolan service.
Five decks are shown covering the ship's two classes, First and Tourist. You or I of course would have booked one of the two forward-facing "Camarote de Luxo" suites on A Deck,, although in reality we probably would have been housed in the barrack-like cabins down on Tourist Class D Deck.
The UIGE was a popular ship until the late 1960s when the jet took over most African travel. She went to the breakers in 1979.
Very good condition.
