Vintage Turquoise Crackle Glaze Elephant.

A beautiful porcelain elephant of super form in a turquoise crackle glaze.  Excellent condition with no damage. Interestingly there are little scrolls of paper inside the elephant, I have no idea what they are, perhaps they are good luck messages as the Chinese are known for doing this.

In ancient China, elephants were seen as symbols of power, strength, and wisdom. They were also believed to bring good luck and were often depicted in artwork and sculptures. During imperial times, elephants were often used in processions and ceremonies as a symbol of the emperor's power and authority.
