The optimal-27-inches of length allows for good speed and easy mobility.
The Head is approximately the same weight as the handle which balances speed and momentum with maneuverability which counter-acts the deficit of maneuverability due to the extra weight. The larger head also provides better power and stability.
The 18X20 String pattern usually only gives more control, added durability and less trampoline effect. But, with the larger head you get the best of both worlds which adds more power and more spin but slightly less durability.
