In August, 2022, Pee Dee Area Council (552) was merged into Indian Waters Council (553).

On January 1, 2023 the associated Lodges: Santee 116 (PDAC) and Muscogee 221 (IWC) merged to form the newest Lodge in the BSA: Muscogee 116.
