A Rare Antique 19th Century Large and beautifully Hand Carved Solid Mahogany Wooden Bust depicting French

President and Statesman - Adolphe Thiers (1797-1877).

A highly detailed carved bust with name "THIERS" carved on his left coat collar.

In good condition for age with minor repair to his left side shirt collar which had been broken off at some stage and  

re-attached. 

The Bust is flat on reverse and has two holes for wall mounting, plus a cut-out section at the base for standing

on a shelf or bookcase etc. (please see photographs).

An exception French Bust which displays exceeding well and is totally charming!
