It also features minimal roll memory - if unrolled, it will lay flat (doesn't curl). The crossbone stud pattern on the heat membrane was designed for the fast and easy installation of electrical heating cable, which also provides additional benefits. The pattern allows for one-pass thinset mortar adhesive to cover the heat cables fully, speeding up heated floor installation. It creates fewer touchpoints between the heating wire and membrane, improving uniform heat distribution, eliminating cold spots. It leaves less air space within the mat structure for faster and more efficient heating of the floor surface above.
