Charles Mingus The Black Saint And The Sinner Lady Mini LP SHM-SACD JAPAN

Product introduction

The Verve Acoustic Sounds series, a major project that started in 2020, reprints the masterpieces owned by the Verve label group in analog with the highest sound quality. In this Verve Acoustic Sounds SACD series, which is the latest DSD version of the master, you can fully enjoy the ultimate sound that the label is working on with its prestige.

This work is the first work transferred to Impulse label by Charles Mingus, who has carved his name in jazz history as a rare bassist/composer/arranger. Dare to call themselves "ethnic folk dance music", they are developing a magnificent world that traverses jazz, classical and flamenco with a small orchestra that introduces acoustic guitars. Mingus' talent shines through every inch, from the big band sound that oozes with respect for Duke Ellington to the Spanish flavor.
