When salvaging old windows it seems we always get the lower half of the sash window with the latch in tact but we seldom see the top half of the sash windows with the keepers!

So, we had some cast to match up sets with the original latches and we have some keepers left over.

This particular keeper is a reproduction of the original Champion keeper with the word THE on it. When matched to the correct latch, it read 'THE CHAMPION'.  We have included a couple of pictures to demonstrate how the keeper looks with the original CHAMPION latch.

It is 5/8" wide at the ends. 

Total height is 1".

Screw holes are on 1 7/8" centers. 

Very clean and detailed casting.

NOTE:  Sometimes, depending upon how often your CHAMPION latch was used, it may be necessary to slightly file down the center tab under the under the middle of the keeper to make a really tight fit with the latch. See last two pictures.  This is relatively easy and we usually use a Dremel tool or hand file for such an adjustment should it be necessary.
