Gary Bertini Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Brahms Complete Symphonies 2 CD JAPAN
Product introduction
First appearance! Bertini's Brahms: Complete Symphonies!
A famous performance performed with Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra in June 2003!
The master Bertini, who was so energetic until just before his death, left the world so stunned. At the time, when such a great conductor visited Japan frequently, I thought it was just like water or air, but now that I think about it, every time he gave a splendid performance like a series of miracles. I am reminded of that. Listen to the complete Brahms symphonies for the first time. This performance was performed at once at the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra in June 2003, and the uniformity of Bertini's performance plan can be clearly read. A sense of tempo that can be called moderately fast. A superb art that does not fall into frivolity while eliminating the heaviness. If you think that it was sung in an operatic way, the closing is done in a classical way. It is a performance calculated to every corner. Bertini says he received the compliment of "the second coming of Toscanini", and that is absolutely true. The dedication of the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, which I would like to admire as the hands and feet of a master, is also noteworthy. Digital sound quality is good.
