A 1:50,000 scale topographic map of Malmedy, Belgium.  This map covers the Belgian-German Border and part of Parc Natural Hautes Fagnes-Eifel.  The Belgian towns/villages of Stavelot,Francorchamps, Sart, Malmedy, Baugnez, Bellevaux-Ligneuville, Waimes (Weismes), Butgenbach (Bütgenbach), Bullange (Büllingen), Elsenborn, Kütchelscheid, Rochearath and Mürringen are covered. The German Towns of Kalterherberg, Hellenthal, Schleiden and Scheid are also covered.  This map covers areas of significant interest for anyone studying WW2.

About the series

Topographical survey of Belgium at 1:50,000 from the country’s national survey organization, Nationaal Geografisch Instituut / Institut Géographique National.

Each standard sheet covers approximately 32 x 20 km / 20 x 12 miles.

The maps provide all the information expected of topographic mapping at this scale and additionally have an unusually large amount of vegetation and/or land use information (different types of woodlands, gardens, orchards, heath, etc).

The maps have a 1-km UTM grid, with 1' margin ticks for latitude and longitude.
